Big Boy 4x4

WE ARE PLEASED TO PRESENT the new powerfull “Big Boy” 4x4 locomotive, Made in Dotto, with Euro VI Turbo Diesel engine. The new Dotto tourist train will be able to climb slopes of even 25% getting to peak never thinked before. The new design studied bring out the strenght and the stability of the tourist train. The driver comfort is ensured by a wider and more spacious cabin equipped with two seats, lockable doors and a new dashboard with multifunctional display.

Automatic Allison: 5 forward + reverse (double gear ratio thanks to the transfer case).

TRANSMISSION
4x4. Permanent four-wheel drive mechanical with planetary gears at the wheel hubs. Electro-pneumatic differential locking

BRAKES
Pneumo Hydraulic discs brakes on the front and rear wheels. Double front brake caliper and single rear caliper. Air parking brake with spring cylinder on the rear axle. Pneumatic circuit for coach braking.

SUSPENSION
Front axle: parabolic leaf spring. Rear axle: air springs with leveling valve and hydraulic shock adsorber.

STEERING
Hydraulically assisted mechanical servo on the front wheels.
