Success for the new electric locomotive Ivo22

Following the launch in early January 2022 of the new Ivo22 electric train by Dotto Trains, the world's leading provider of mainly tourist transport by road, used for a variety of uses in urban settings with special needs such as restricted maneuvering space, locations of natural or protected interest, private areas..., many of the Castelfranco Veneto (TV) company's newly produced trains have been delivered to different parts of Europe, perhaps already more environmentally conscious, than Italy.

The new Ivo22 locomotive has been particularly successful already in its first year of birth: environmentally friendly with zero emissions, it is available with 2×4 and 4×4 traction, ideal for both urban and tourist transport, maneuverable even on the narrow streets of historic centers.
The 700 Ah lithium-ion battery controlled by a BMS has provision for fast charging, allowing the vehicle to be fully recharged in just 2 hours and 30 minutes. The new locomotive also provides regenerative braking, which allows, on a downhill gradient, to recover all the energy that would otherwise be wasted in braking, optimizing the technical characteristics of the new locomotive even in mountainous locations with slopes.

The best examples, all customized according to the needs or wishes of the owners (for needs, colors...), are those of the little trains delivered this year, which now service different locations such as, for example, Bayeux, a town located in the Normandy region, Chamonix (little train modified in height to pass under a historic archway of the town, with square front glass and cut chimneys).

Another electric Ivo22 delivery to a small town in Belgium, where one circulates in Rochehaut and is used to transport customers between a hotel, restaurant, a nature park, and a large estate of a craft brewery.
On the border between France and Germany, in the Strasbourg area, an important and forward-looking Dotto customer operating in many surrounding localities is gradually upgrading its fleet from diesel to electric.
In Italy, on the other hand, the first owner of an Ivo22 that served last summer season among the Trentino mountains of Moena (Public Works Solutions No. 117), performed service at the International Tennis Championships at the Foro Italico in Rome last month.

With a view to an ever further improvement also at the ecological level - held in the highest esteem since its foundation - Dotto Trains has recently participated in the Sustainability Week, an event organized by Confindustria Veneto Est to promote sustainability as one of the foundations of business development in the area, offering dialogue and comparison between business experiences, of schools, research centers, start-ups and Public Administrations in the area, from Padua to Venice, Treviso and Rovigo, with the aim of being able to systematically address sustainability issues in the three aspects related to the environment, social and economy, exchange good practices, define a common language and activate new collaborations.
The concept of sustainability is increasingly in the spotlight today and translates into a strong commitment of the entire community to reducing its impact on the Planet and fostering the social and economic well-being of society.
During the 5 days of May, Dotto Trains participated prominently in the event, both as a company that brought its testimony within the Sustainability Group of Confindustria Veneto Est, and as a partner, offering transportation service to the interested public within the headquarters of the Province of Treviso, Sant'Artemio, a historic building located within the large Storga Park, in the Auditorium of which workshops and conferences were held.
