Type approval and certification

In addition to offering reliability and technological innovation, Dotto also complies with the requirements of the

• UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 standard. The company uses a quality management system that aims to improve customer satisfaction by effectively applying this system and all its individual processes.
• OHSAS 18001:2007, using a management system which aims to ensure health and safety at the workplace.

But Dotto goes further than ISO certification and also focuses on testing and obtaining type approval for its products, which are all built according to the regulations in force in the countries where the products are used and tested by the type-approval organisation TUEV.

Every step in the production process is subjected to rigorous control tests in order to ensure high of quality, safety, and environmental standards in compliance with the strict regulations in force in Europe and throughout the world. This covers testing and type-approval by the German organisation TUEV through to compliance with the strictest standards and requirements imposed by national requirements.

All this testing takes into consideration that a Dotto train is a “Train/Means of Transport” as well as a “Train/Attraction”. So each train is built, tested, inspected and approved on a national and international level according to its specific use.

Dotto complies with all directives issued by approval organisations so that Dotto trains can be used around the world.
